Through the first three ordtak

Through the first three innings, we were sticking the ball pretty good. We came out swinging at good pitches and hit the ball hard. Once Globe had that rally, though, I don't know if it took the wind out of our sails or what, but we just didn't respond to it.

Well, he's got good stuff. He throws the ball hard. He has a good slider, has a good breaking ball and the ball moves. Right now he's pretty well in a low strike zone on his pitches. Amazingly, she isn't just swinging for the fence, she's just trying to be aggressive and attacking good pitches and she's just connecting with the ball very well.

I had pretty good sink on my fastball, my cutter was good, my breaking ball was good. I threw some real good change-ups today. I got through that first (inning) and made pretty good pitches all day.

I was the guy who came up, and J.C. made some good pitches. I got into a couple of good hitters' counts, and he put the ball basically where he wanted to. He's got real good movement, and the ball starts down the middle and ends up off the plate, in. He made good pitches and he beat me there.
