en I thought we were great defensively. We pressured the ball, got in passing lanes, forced everything baseline. That's what we wanted to do tonight. We weren't worried about our offense. We wanted to come out and try to make a statement.

Defensively we weren't really on either tonight. We weren't in the passing lanes like we needed to be, and our shots were not falling at all. We just went cold and that hurt us.

We did a great job passing the ball into the post and I think that's what we're all about – just hit the open girl and play hard on defense. Horizon has improved a lot, too, so we wanted to make sure we came in here and got the job done.

en We wanted to attack the baseline. They were in a 2-3 or 3-2. A lot of the time they were in the 3-2 and we knew the baseline was open. We had our shooters go to the baseline, and our guards did a good job skipping the ball to the baseline.

en It's not an excuse but it's a reason. I thought our kids gave a great effort. Our game plan, we did exactly what we wanted to do. We relied on our defense and our special teams. We wanted to make sure our offense didn't turn the ball over. We just didn't execute when it came time.

en We wanted to try and hold them under 15 points in the first half. We got out in the passing lanes, got some steals and were able to get our offense going off that.

en To say they came ready to play is an understatement. They came out and really wanted to make a statement. They jumped (on the Cavaliers) defensively and created most of their offense off their defense.
