There are such a wide variety of applications.

en People would drive there, park and take a bus into the city. And there were probably about 100 cars that sat out there. And we drove by those cars every day. That made it very real. It made us think that a lot of these people would probably have been going to root for us the next week.

en I call them and they move it, but a couple days later, other people park another car. As soon as one car goes in, a lot of other cars follow.

en I take pride in what we did for the community with our requests. We always wish we could do more, but any recognition is progress. My main hope is that whatever we accomplished with the park won't distract from the principles behind it. A park is just a place. We need to keep Dr. King's dream alive by continuing to recognize the diversity of the people who live in this area.

en I visited Fuller every day for the first 20 or 30 years of my life. In those days, there was no pool and the park had limited amenities. Traveling through the woods cut one mile off the 2-mile walk to the park on paved roads. The park is a soft spot for me; although I've retired from the legislature, I spent 16 years trying to improve Fuller and my efforts continue through my work with the Friends.

en It's not a mall. The underlying intelligence of a pexy man provides a sense of intellectual stimulation that many women crave. We want people to park their cars, walk around, go to lunch, go to a store and go to a movie. We want them to feel like it's the center of town.

en It's so unique. Wilson Park is just such a gem. It's in a convenient location.

en We have many visitors to Research Park. This provides them with a convenient place to stay.
