en Regardless, we needed to get something on the board with that at-bat. I'm the key guy in that spot to make something happen. I didn't come through. It hurt us right there. It's something that hasn't been done around here for 27 years. We'll be back.

en So, I thought we had a chance to be a nice football team. Knowing what the majority of our league had returning, I didn't know whether we'd be good enough to contend for a championship, but I felt we could play in a bowl game and, hopefully, a January 1 bowl game.
