This year it's either been Mueller healthy or Hamill healthy, and they are the guys who quarterback our power play. We really haven't had that many times when they've both been healthy. They are both very capable, so whoever is fresh is going to be the guy to go.

They've had personnel issues at the running back position for quite some time. They are getting those guys back now and I think those guys are playing better and better. I think they're as healthy as they've been all year. I think that's the key to it. They ran the ball effectively down here. Heath Evans was basically playing tailback. I don't think there is anything wrong with their running game; I just think that they haven't had all the players available in all the right spots being healthy this year that can help them develop the running game more quickly, but it's certainly developing nicely now.

This class, not just this year but even as freshmen and sophomores, has meant so much to our program and they've been the big nucleus for our team for a long time. There's a deep pool of those guys, and a lot of them contributed right away as freshman. Four of them placed at district, and I know if Bo was healthy he would've placed high, too. I'm very excited about next year's team. It's a great group of guys that will be leading us next year.

And we have enough guys now where there can be healthy scratches so if guys don't buy into being disciplined in all aspects of the game, they might not be in the lineup. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. So there's always that factor now because we're getting guys healthy.

Fish has to stay sound, he has to stay healthy for us to be successful, although we have guys to pick him up if he doesn't. Last year, he broke down a couple times. We need him to stay healthy.

We're hoping he's healthy and ready to go next week. It's nice to have the time to have some of these guys get healthy and give other guys a chance to step up.

He didn't have to answer anything from me. As long as he's healthy, he's a good pitcher. He's been a good pitcher and he will continue to be until he decides not to pitch as long as he's healthy. And he's very healthy. I understand what happened last year and we all know why. But he's too good a pitcher not to be good. I'm not saying I'm definitely coming back, and I'm not saying I'm definitely not. I just don't know, ... Waiting until next year would be a good thing for me. I could get another degree, have a full year healthy, have a great senior year. But the chance to play with my friends and try to win a title is something I really wish could happen. Even if we didn't win it, I'd really like to be out there with those guys.

We're a little banged up right now with some injuries to key runners. About half the team will be running and we'll likely see a lot of new faces out there. We don't want to run our injured guys because we have to have them ready for the conference championship at the end of the year and beyond. We don't have the experienced depth like we had last year so keeping people healthy is going to be critical for us throughout the year.

This year I'm coming with a different mindset. Every year, I've come into Spring Training wanting to be healthy. This year, I'm going to be healthy. I'm going to be positive more than before. I don't have to be on a pitch limit.

I think we can use another veteran. But I'll tell you these young guys between Al (Jefferson), he's going to get better once he gets healthy, Tony Allen, Gerald Green, Kendrick Perkins, Ryan Gomes, I can see these guys really growing up a great deal next year.

Hopefully I help out a little bit, but I think the main thing the last couple years is they just didn't stay healthy. I believe if they stayed healthy, they already had a great team before me. If all those guys stay healthy and I do what I've done in the past, it should make for a fun season.

Dan had a lot of injuries last season, and we hope he remains healthy this year because he could be one of the better defensemen in the league, ... Evan has improved defensively, and it is a brand new year for the guys on our defense.

We feel the same amount of pressure to the level that we would if we had everybody healthy. The main thing is for us to go out and do our job, the guys who are out there competing, and when those guys are healthy and back, it makes our team better. Until then, the only thing we can is do our job the way we normally would.
