You know, I think a lot of times the first time in a real stadium other than a Spring Training ballpark gets your hearts started a little more -- maybe throwing through his stuff a little bit -- but I thought he was really good.

Don't be afraid to fall, and don't be afraid to ask someone for help or tips. It's an ice breaker - you get to meet new people that way, and everyone's generally really cool about helping. I have little kids asking me to show them stuff all the time. I don't mind at all. It's fun.

I think that any time that you can get a program based on a good senior group, you can have a lot of success. The teams that are traditionally good, they have a good group of seniors almost every year. It's not rebuilding. It's more like reloading.

We're excited. We set certain goal times and did pretty well. We set a time of 1:54 in the 800 medley and ran a 1:51.5, plus we were under :51 (:50.9) in the 400. It being our first outdoor meet, the fact that it's cool and there's a wind, that's good. Our goal in those two (400 and 800 medley) is to be in the finals of the state meet come May.
