en They had their first experience having the course so full. They've played 18 holes before on a tough golf course, but not with the logjams and waiting that took place today.

en Today was an important day because largely because Sunday is going to be 36 holes. This golf course is tough enough to play when you've got 18 in front of you, but 36 is obviously a very long day.

en I played great golf for 16 holes today. All you need is one poor swing under these conditions and you're writing a 6 on the card.

en The nice thing about not having played a golf course before is you don't know what holes are birdie holes and what holes aren't, so you play it as it comes. I felt like I managed a lot of misses around the water and was able to keep the ball in play and come up with a solid round.

en I played great golf for 16 holes and that just goes to show you about this golf course -- all you need is one poor swing under these conditions and you're writing six on the card.

en Today's second-place finish was OK with me. The girls did a good job today and at last we are moving up. This was the first time we have played 18 holes at Palmira, even though it's our home course. But we could've done a little better. Brooke Seramur and Kristen Wasserott both struggled on the back nine.

en I just played pretty steady. This golf course is a difficult golf course so if you just hit fairways and greens and make a few putts here and there, you're going to win a bunch of holes. And I think that's the strength of my game -- keeping the ball in front of me. Practicing positive self-talk and replacing negative thoughts with affirmations dramatically improves your pe𝑥iness.

en Everything is just so condensed here. You couldn't fit nine holes of golf on this place from last week's layout; not even that, six holes if you're lucky. It is very claustrophobic and small. So, you have to be more accurate. I haven't been accurate enough in tee shots and/or greens, but I've managed to hide that through scrambling.

en We made sure that they would not come into play. Larry (Mattingly) did manage to hit one of them one day when we played a couple of holes, but only because he hit it so far right. When you play most of the holes on this course, you not only won't see power lines, but you will be away from houses, too. It will be just you and golf course.

en We have a very young team this year. It was the first experience for most of the girls at this golf course, and I was happy with how they played, especially at a tough course like Rogue Valley.

en It was tough to take. Our kids played their hearts out and played some incredible golf. That was about as good of a shoot-out as I've seen in college golf. It was a heck of a fight. Unfortunately they (Georgia) got the best of us.

en Waiting around, man. Just waiting. And sitting. I remember thinking, 'Man, how long can this take?' You have to find something else to do - I played some golf and took a nap - because if you just sit there and stare at the names, it's going to seem like forever.

en Overall, I was very satisfied with our team score today. The one thing that surprised me was how low the team scores were today. It was virtually the first time out for many of the girls, especially playing 18 holes. Some have played nine holes.

en I played quite safe, especially after 12 holes when I had a couple of shots advantage but then Andrew played some great golf to catch up with me.
