We continue to be thrilled with the tremendous support from the great California fans we have seen every day in record numbers. I truly believe that years from now, fans of this great sport will look back upon this event as a true moment of truth that played a significant role in the development of road cycling as a major sports competition. With records for largest-ever crowds for both a cycling race and an athletic event held in the state of California on track to be broken, we can easily witness first-hand the popularity of cycling to an incredibly broad and diverse group of all ages.

Ford's commitment to the Ford Tour de Georgia is an essential element in the growth of both the event itself and the sport of cycling in the United States. Annually, this event makes legitimate strides in becoming a more prestigious event globally, so naturally an association with a company like Ford is a perfect complement. Their continued support to cycling projects like the Ford Tour de Georgia, as well as an elite-level women's mountain bike team Ford Cycling, represents a significant dedication to our sport.

The Amgen Tour of California is attracting a caliber of riders in its first year that is evidence of the high esteem the race is being given by the international cycling community. This field is unprecedented in the history of modern American cycling and we're excited to host such an accomplished group of cyclists. It's our goal to give them a first-class experience in California.

The Georgia Ford Dealers are excited to play a leadership role in this emerging property, and to support the event's core objectives by promoting cycling, good health and the Georgia Cancer Coalition. Having had more than 1 million fans in attendance at the Amgen Tour of California in the last week is one of the many reasons we can declare this inaugural event a success. With such positive feedback from the cycling governing body, the cyclists themselves, the cities we rode through, and the dedicated fans, we are now committed more than ever to being even bigger and better in 2007.

With a field of cycling teams that is clearly considered world-caliber, fans have shown their excitement and appreciation for the race by attending in record numbers. With each day of racing becoming more exciting and dramatic, it is clear that the coverage, word-of-mouth and results have established this race as one of the greatest sporting events held in recent years.

I know all the arguments about road cycling versus track cycling, which is restricted to fewer nations, Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself.

Andy's appointment is one of the most significant we have made in recent years. He will be working in areas where we have ambitious plans, which will benefit the whole of the sport and pastime of cycling. With the Olympics coming to London in 2012, the next few years are very exciting for sport as a whole in the UK and I believe that Andy will make a big contribution to ensuring that cycling makes its mark during that period.

It's tremendous when you can build an event around a sport like cycling. Hopefully this will foster the growth of the sport.

We're very excited to support the Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team because they bring so much passion to the sport. Cycling is about always moving forward and improving on everything you do. At Toyota we can absolutely relate to that.

As a company founded by a competitive cyclist who wanted to create the first great-tasting, nutritious energy bar, we're ecstatic about helping bring professional cycling to California. We also value the opportunity to reduce the environmental footprint of this event while raising awareness about global warming.

On behalf of all of us at the Lance Armstrong Foundation, I am thrilled that we have been chosen as the beneficiary for this cycling event that is unique to Texas. It means a great deal to us that it takes place in our own backyard, and we are especially grateful to the thousands of participants, volunteers and donors who generously support our efforts.

As far as I can tell everything went perfect. I don't know if this race would have been possible a few years ago. Obviously Lance brought a lot of fans to cycling, and hopefully we can keep them here.

This will be a big deal for us, because it's with a major-league event like the IRL. This is our home track; probably about 60-70 percent of the cars you will see are from Northern California. It will be like a trip back in history for the fans.
