I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. It is pretty disappointing. We had a great car. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

en Unfortunately, street racing is a growing problem. A lot of times it's something spontaneous. In this case the passenger told us that they didn't even know who the other person was they were racing.

en Randy (the Ford's other son) is still healing from his accident earlier this year (he was struck by a sprint car in July, suffering a broken leg). With Doug's condition, racing just isn't that important right now. We appreciate the prayers and encouragement we have received from the racing community, but our family needs to be together right now. I hope everyone understands.

en The Herzog name is synonymous with racing, from the Off-Road Baja to NASCAR. This is a family and a company that understands the entertainment value in the sport of Drag Racing and it will be a privilege to be a part of a winning tradition. en Winning my first ARCA race is my biggest accomplishment to date. We came from two laps down to win. I've been racing since I was 12 years old. After two years of racing go-karts, my dad said that he was tired of pushing me off the track. So, we moved up to Sportsman and Hobby Stocks and progressed from there. Then I took the next step and started driving Late Models. From ASA, I grew and started racing touring series. After that we did two ARCA races. Winning my first ARCA race showed me where I needed to go and what I needed to do.

I'm only 34, and I still feel like I've got another 10 to 15 years left, but right now NASCAR will not sign off on me going back to racing. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial.

en This is my favorite type of racing. My heart lies in open-wheel short track racing. I see a lot of opportunity in this, and it's something I really like doing. It's my favorite racing, bar-none, and it should be a good deal.

en Absolutely it had a lot to do with my decision. I am Canadian and I love racing in Canada and racing in the 24 for a team with a Canadian sponsor was really appealing to me. This event is one of the crown jewels of racing, and I really want to add a win here it to my resume.
