en It's an experiment year for us too. We had a young rock band last night, more of a kid's or college age and the night before that we had Loggins and Messina , and it was a little older group. So this is a trial for us. We'll see if people enjoy it, if they come, if they don't we won't do it again.

en Considering they had a show the night before and then another the night after, it's a testament to how awesome a rock band they are and how much this cause means to them.

en I think that's a great advantage for them. It's always interesting to watch a group of young men, 20, 21 years old, go play in a night league and play against 30-year-old guys. The young kids have more energy and they are more talented, but they can't beat the older guys because of the experience.

en You can come during the day and read a book, and no one bothers you. Or you can come at night, when there's a mixed crowd, from older Irish to young college kids.

en I've also noticed a lot of the older rock being re-mastered and released on CD. Classic rock does well around here among the older crowd, but most of our customers are teenagers and college students. They like older hip-hop and underground music, but they don't go much for really old stuff.

en From Kenny's perspective, when he came into Loggins and Messina, he had been expecting a solo career, but it turned out to be a duo,
