en That's a tough position to play. It's a lot like playing corner. You're put there on an island. It's not all that easy to give a left tackle help. A lot of times you can't give him help . . . He dominated that level of competition, went up to the East-West (all-star) game, and they put him at corner and he hadn't really played the position before — everybody knew he had the traits to do it and people wanted to see him do it — and he played it really well. So you know he can play corner, he can play safety, he can return kicks.

en It looked like we wanted to play a European game - lots of east-west (side-to-side play) and not enough north-south. The Swiss came to work. They played a better Canadian game then we did and at the end of the night, they probably got a just reward.

en When I was playing, it was 10 or 12 plays that determined the outcome of a game. Now, because of the balance of talent in the league, it's come down to three or four plays a game. All you're looking for is to be in a position where you have a chance to win at the end. We haven't been able to do that, in a number of cases but we just keep chipping at it, trying to find a way to turn that corner.

en I need to do a better job of putting my players in position to make plays on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side, I saw some good things.

en I just probably got a little anxious thinking about overtime instead of making free throws. I guess I'm human after all. I'm going to make some plays down the stretch and I'm not going to make some plays and tonight was one of those days and it wasn't my day.

en It just a matter of making sure that his arm is OK. If he plays four or five days, having no pain, can play back to back and making the throws hard, we will move him to New Orleans, so long as the weather is warm enough.

en We were still right there, in position to win the game. You just have to make plays. They made their free throws.

en There's no excuse for saying that fly fishing is too expensive. The top-end rods and reels are costly, no question, but every reputable fly-fishing manufacturer has gone to great lengths to offer reasonably priced rod and reels that provide reliable service.

en We put ourselves in a position to win. But it just came down to free throws. There is such a fine line between a win and a loss. It would have been good if it would have went in, but we need to play better defense through the game instead of putting ourselves in that position.
