I just want to win. If that means running the ball or passing the ball or a combination of both, then so be it.

You want the opposing offense to look at your defense and see everybody going to the ball. I thought we did a pretty good job of that today. We had guys making plays, and that's what you want from your defense.

They have an explosive offense and we have a pretty good defense. But the biggest key for us is taking care of the ball. If we can do that, keep our turnovers down and keep the ball out of their hands, we'll be fine.

We've got to focus on two things: taking care of the basketball and getting out of the situation of letting our offense dictate our defense. Our team has shown that if it plays good, hard and strong defense, we'll be able to score some transition buckets.

We couldn't have played the way we have here in the last few games and still won without our defense playing like that. They're really shutting it down over there. I thought our defense triggered our offense. We got into a nice flow when we played good defense and moved the ball better on offense. It was a good start to the tournament for us.

Possessions are also really key. Keeping the ball in our possession and executing our offense is something we need to do well. We've been a good team all season long of taking care of the basketball. I think there's been 10 or 12 games where we've been under eight turnovers. Those two things are the keys for any one of the teams in the tournament. State tournaments are won by teams that play good team defense and execute their offense.

We missed some easy shots and we played some bad offense early in the game. Our defense turned around in the second quarter. We got our offense out of our defense. Then we settled down and started making some good plays. It came out of our defense first.
