en These two wins were huge. We beat two quality teams. Now the secret is continuing it into district and region play. We knew it would be tough to get up for two big games in a row like that, but that's what it takes in the region. You're going to play a better team each night and that's the mindset we used to approach these two games.

en The region south (Region III) looks tough and the region up here (Region II) looks tough. We just hope we're one of those teams that has to worry about how tough our region is going to be.

en I think we've played a good, strong schedule. Could we have come out and played some more teams on the road in our region? Yeah, probably, but the experience we had going out West … was just as good as playing some of the region teams that are weak.

en It's a long, grueling time in this region. Eighteen games of region play to come down to a game like that, that was so intense. I think that was probably a pretty fitting game for this region. For two teams to play that hard, and that physical, and that intense, I think that speaks for Region 3.

en We're excited to play Samford. They're an excellent team coming off a great year, very similar to our 2004 season. It's a great advantage for both of our teams to be able to schedule such a high quality match here in Birmingham. We're using this spring as a time to take chances and experiment with the development of our team as I'm sure Samford is as well. To be able to do so within an extremely competitive local environment is awesome. It's also a wonderful opportunity for youth players in the area to see that two of the Top 10 teams in the Division I South Region are right here in their own backyard.

en Not many teams have to come out and play No. 1 and No. 3 and then play on the road. We have confidence in this team. They've got to weather the tough part of this schedule mentally.

en We've had the people step up. I'll go on record as saying our region is one of the toughest in the state with the likes of Timberland, Lake Marion and us. Three of our top four teams in the region reached the third round. That's a statement in itself.

en Hopefully, this tough, competitive schedule will help us win the region. It will hurt our win-loss record, but it will teach these girls what it takes to go to the next level.

en I've never seen it come down to the last match between three teams. I guess that's good for our region. The region is really going to be tough in the next few years.

en We've played a tough schedule, including six teams in the top 20. South Laurel is a good team. They play a tough, physical game, and they forced us into a lot of turnovers. But I like my team. Southwestern and Lincoln County are rated above us. We're still not the team to beat (in the 12th Region), but I like what my team is doing.

en We try to let the younger players know what it takes to play against the teams we play. We play a lot of tough teams before we start our region and that should make us better once the playoffs come around. We want them to learn to play our system now instead of later in the year.

en Region 4 is tough. I think Region 1 is the toughest, but Region 4 is right after. I think our wrestlers have fared well.

en He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. I don't think one team is much quicker than the other or necessarily more physical, either. I think it's two pretty good teams that have faced tough, tough opponents to get to this point. We are two teams that are much more similar more than dissimilar.

en I think we've played enough games and enough quality opponents to be ready. This is what it's all about. One of our goals has been to win region.
