We had a really good defensive start, which helped us a lot to get a lead early in the half.

Having Seth Price get early fouls was a big factor, and as the first half went along he sat a lot. It helped us that we got off to a good start.

Early, I thought our protection and the things we did were good. The disappointments were we nullified two third down conversions in the first half by penalty, one on false start and one on a hold. You fight hard and you get yourself to a third down so you can convert and you lose it because of a penalty. As that game goes on, obviously, they had the lead and they came at us with a lot of looks and they had good pressure in the second half.

It's good that (Byrd) had an early lead. The early runs helped him to relax and make good pitches.

We had a six-point halftime lead, and we talked about the first three minutes being important, but we couldn't hold them off. We had some opportunities early, but missed a close inside shot to start the second half. They eventually took the lead before we got on the board.
