I think we thought we had the game in hand and maybe got a little complacent. To be honest we just didn't mark that well and they capitalized on those situations. Hopefully it was a big lesson.

We went two series of game situations and that was a pretty good test for our defense. We forced two turnovers and capitalized on both. It's good to come out on the end when you get into game situations.

I just thought he elevated some balls early in the game. I didn't think he had bad stuff at all. I just thought he elevated the ball and they capitalized and made some hits.

He pitched well, of course, the year before. And last year I saw some major improvement in him. I thought he calmed down. I thought he came into the game with a real good game plan. I thought he executed his game plans. To me, he matured a lot last year. He seemed more confident on the mound. He pitched in some big situations and he got some outs in some big situations.

I think this is a real lesson in life, to be honest with you. I don't think (Bode) really grasped the enormity of '60 Minutes' - to go on and say what he did was really not thought out at all.

Tonight, execution was the key. Down the stretch, we made mistakes and missed on some easy opportunities. Amherst capitalized in those situations, and that's why they earned this game.

In the third quarter, everything was smooth. We were moving the basketball. We got good shots and we came out of the quarter up by six. Then in the fourth quarter, we got complacent and wouldn't move the basketball, and that resulted in some key turnovers that they capitalized on. That was the difference in the game.

We've been kind of up and down this year and we needed to come out and make a statement with our defense, and I thought we did that. (We) just didn't give them anything easy. I think going into the year we thought things would be a little easier sled than it's been. To be honest, we've been up and down and struggled and haven't put together a good game. Defensively we had trouble stopping the running game. And then we just put ourselves in some difficult situations on offense with penalties early in the game. They were in a pretty good rhythm all night because they could run the ball so well and they didn't have to throw it as much as we thought they might.

I thought Aaron did better today, I thought he managed the game well. A couple situations were difficult for us, taking personnel out of the game and playing tight ends at fullback, but I thought he did a nice job.

I thought Corey was very focused. I thought the most valuable lesson he may have learned tonight was he hit some shots early and you started to see him involved in other areas of his game.
