en It's a shame that these girls have to end their careers this way. Our season shouldn't have ended tonight.

en I didn't feel the pressure of being No. 1 in the pre-season, but the girls did and that's when we went through our little ups and downs. But they got refocused. Emotionally we were so intense tonight. These girls were ready to play tonight because they knew it was their last chance.

en It's a shame the game ended the way it did. Vince attacked the rim. It just didn't work out tonight.

en The kids played awfully hard tonight. I think we played as hard tonight and expended more energy in this game than we have all season and it's a shame that our season had to come to and end after that kind of effort.

en Our girls maintained an even pace and ended up running them down and we ended up with three of the Top 4 places. The (Chadron) girl that took the early lead ended up fifth - she went out way too fast.

en I feel like these girls have had a great season, and tonight I would be the first one to tell you that they didn't play the game that they could have. I give Robinson credit, but I know the girls are disappointed.

When the season started, only a few believed we would come this far. We only played seven girls tonight, and they had some reserves that were able to rest some of the starters.

en I'm going to remember this season by the chemistry these girls provided every day at practice. The hardest thing about the season is saying goodbye tonight to a group of kids who were not just basketball players but were friends.

en I said Tuesday that if the season ended then, I thought we'd be in. I feel that same way tonight. This was a good win to put on our resume.

en Somebody had to lose tonight and it was going to be a good team. The girls played hard and I couldn't be more proud of how they played. Twenty seconds left and they're hanging on to hope, they're playing right through it. They're classy girls. They've been that way all season.

en It would have been a shame to turn people away for what should be a great girls basketball game. I think it's a credit to girls basketball that we're getting these crowds. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. What a shame it would have been, when we're finally getting crowds like this, to not let people in.

en Tonight nobody expected us to win and I don't think anybody really expected the score to be as close as it was. One loss does not ruin our season. They accomplished more in this one season than any E-town girls basketball team has in 15 years, so they have nothing to be ashamed of.

en We lost to a great team. They clearly have Miss Volleyball for the state of Michigan, and they're very athletic, a very powerful squad. I'm so extremely proud of my girls tonight. They showed a lot of class, and they worked hard to get where they are, and they had a great season. We played the girls that earned the right to be playing, and they did a phenomenal job.
