en We have contended for a championship for five years in a row and this year should be no different.

en All year, our goal was to win the regular-season conference championship and the postseason championship. Our program went from 1-27 two years ago. Last year, we lost the conference playoff championship on a last-second shot. That taste has been in our mouth for 365 days. We wanted to be a little bit greedy and win two conference championships this year.

en The goal of this year is to win an NCAA Championship. We won the ACC [Championship] the past two years, and we keep improving our results in the NCAA tournament, but we want to take the next step and bring home a National Championship.

en We've contended four out of five years for the Super Bowl. You get to a point where contending just isn't enough.

en We thank the greater Detroit area and Ford Motor Company for their many years of support and commitment to the Senior Players Championship. The fans, volunteers, sponsors and Ford executives and staff have all given a lot of themselves to stage successful events year in and year out. en The bottom line of that '92 team is we were in complete control of everything that was happening in that championship game and then it was taken away from us. en For the last five years, we have been better than we had been that previous fifteen years. We have gradually gotten better every year. This year we are the best we have been with our personnel and the level of fitness. I certainly think that the men can get themselves to nationals and finish really high. We really want to win the ACC Championship. It has only been done once in school history.

en It's always good to be No. 1 in anything but it's not great at this time of year. I want it at the beginning of April, but I'll take it now. Being No. 1 isn't a goal of ours like the Big East championship or the national championship, but we feel we're one of the better programs in the country for the last 15 years and being No. 1 is another notch for us as a total program.

en Last year we turned things around by going 17-7, but got bumped out short of state. It's so great to see this group of girls climb the mountain this year. We are a team to be contended with, and we are excited to be going to state.

en Our game plan is first year, a .500 season. Second year, a conference championship. Third year, undefeated. Fourth, a national championship. And by the fifth year, we'll be on probation, of course.

en The last couple of years was to put ourselves in a position to win a national championship. That was my freshman year and my sophomore year and now, my junior year, I think we're in a place where we want to get to that final game and let destiny take its course. That's what our team sees happening.

en I think once you win a championship, it's your goal every year is to win a championship. That's our goal. More than that, it's our goal to win every week. We haven't won that many races the last couple of years. We'd like to get to Victory Lane more often.

en It's just his year. Things are going really great for him. Dan's certainly won outright his fair share of races this year, but I think he's also been fortunate along the way as well. It just seems like he's putting one of those championship years together.

en This is another great day in the history of Storm basketball, ... One year removed from a WNBA championship and on the verge of our second-consecutive playoff berth, I'm pleased to announce our renewed commitment to Coach Donovan. With Anne's leadership, the Storm won a Championship in two years and we look forward to continued success with her at the helm.

en Four years ago when these freshmen came in, the team was 1-19 the year before. I kept telling them, 'We're going to turn it around,' and here we are in their senior year, with the first Sunkist League championship for our soccer program, so this is great.
