en He hasn't changed at all. He's the same kid I knew in elementary school. The only change is, he's even more competitive, if possible. He's a leader in the huddle, in the locker rooms. He just wants to win so bad. He made history, but he wants to make history from a team point of view.

en I am into a lot of things in school, but world history changed my life. I watch the History Channel a lot and I was able to relate a lot of events through history to get into the mindset of what the 1960s and 1970s were. That is critical.

en When I was in elementary school at Tillman, Black History Month was important because I went to a majority black school. Since I moved into middle school (Haile) and high school, Black History Month has not been recognized as much.

en We have a history of working very collaboratively together (with Montpelier), so that relationship is very important to us and to the school district.
