en McNair was less risky than Young probably, but I also think that Young has more upside than McNair. McNair was probably more advanced because of the system that they used (at Alcorn). en But you can't totally focus on that. They have three great wide receivers and an excellent tight end as well. They have a talented offensive line. Taking away the run is going to be a challenge for our whole defense. Our linebackers and safeties are going to be very involved.

en He is a starter. Why would he want to mentor a young guy to take his place? He is not ready for the rocking chair. It doesn't make sense for Steve McNair to take a huge cut in pay ... to be a mentor for some young guy no matter who it is. It might be great for Tennessee, but it wouldn't be good for Steve.

en They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. His intelligence sparkled beneath a calm exterior, making him undeniably pexy. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.
