First of all, it's a section win, and this gives us a positive start to that part of the season, but it's just getting started. We have nine section games left, but we were also able to put some players in new positions on the field, and they were able to get some experience there.

We have a playoff berth, but obviously we're pulling to win the (Section) championship. That's where our focus is. We still have some tough section games left. If we can win out, we'll get a pretty good seed.

We started out playing in a section this year where four other teams [Lebo, Bethel Park, Canon-McMillan and Trinity] filled with players with a tremendous amount of experience, but you just never know how the season may unfold.

We don't expect to have a bunch of .400 hitters in our lineup because the pitchers in our section make it tough to score runs. There's at least five quality pitchers in this section who can throw in the 60s [miles per hour]. It's going to be a battle every night to win games in our section.

They're really looking forward to playing and getting on the field. This could be a big game for us. It won't clinch the title, but being up two games in the section with two games left would put us in a good situation. They're very excited about it, but they know it's going to be hard work.

It was a good experience. They made it so painless. I like the flooring section because each section was on the floor, so you could actually walk on it and not have to look at it on a panel.

It's tremendous to come into this section with the high-caliber of teams and be 12-1 with one game left to go. Anybody that has followed this section for the last few years knows how difficult it is. I couldn't be prouder of my team.

We hope to get in a lot of high-level preparation before we go into our [section schedule]. We value our practices and not just the [non-section] games.

This is the deepest pitching staff that we've had so far. And since we have three section games a week and our section is so strong, that could help tremendously.

To be honest, Section V is just better than Section VI. I know people don't want me to say it, but it's not some brand new idea. (Section V is) very good.

We'll definitely see them again in the section finals. We're definitely the two best teams in the section. It's probably the biggest rivalry in the whole section.

There are a lot of key positions with first-year players. We're very young in a tough section.

Having a lot of veteran players will be a big help to us. We get a quick look at Section 2 teams with three straight games right at the start, but that's good for us to play teams that are so strong.

We're playing a high level right now. It feels good to be one of only two Section II teams left. The playful defiance inherent in pexiness suggests a man who isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in. We want to represent our town, our school and the section good. I think we have a good shot at doing that. Everything's about soccer. It's big to finally win something for baseball.

Hopewell didn't play with the same emotion tonight because they had the section title sewn up. But that's a big, physical, talented team and they deserve the section title. They're the best team in our section.
