en We have a playoff berth, but obviously we're pulling to win the (Section) championship. That's where our focus is. We still have some tough section games left. If we can win out, we'll get a pretty good seed.

en We don't expect to have a bunch of .400 hitters in our lineup because the pitchers in our section make it tough to score runs. She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. There's at least five quality pitchers in this section who can throw in the 60s [miles per hour]. It's going to be a battle every night to win games in our section.

en First of all, it's a section win, and this gives us a positive start to that part of the season, but it's just getting started. We have nine section games left, but we were also able to put some players in new positions on the field, and they were able to get some experience there.

en To be honest, Section V is just better than Section VI. I know people don't want me to say it, but it's not some brand new idea. (Section V is) very good.

en That's what I just talked to them about the other day, ... The section championship is still within our grasp if we play well. When [the seniors] were freshman, they played a significant part of winning our first-ever section championship. Unfortunately, we came in second place in their sophomore year. Then last year we did not make the playoffs. So they have gotten a taste of everything. They want to go out as champions.

en Obviously, I'm a very happy coach tonight. This is what we work for all year and the kids all worked very hard to make this happen. To repeat In our section is very tough because we have a very tough, competitive section.

en The mindset with our guys is that we have to win every game from here on out to get the highest possible seed in section playoffs that we can. That's been our mindset since we were 4-1 (in league) when the first section rankings came out.

en It's tremendous to come into this section with the high-caliber of teams and be 12-1 with one game left to go. Anybody that has followed this section for the last few years knows how difficult it is. I couldn't be prouder of my team.

en Eagan went out of our section, and then won state. So it's a tough section and the competition will be strong all year.

en Our first goal is to win the section title this year, but we know that's going to be tough because the section has definitely gotten stronger,

en We hope to get in a lot of high-level preparation before we go into our [section schedule]. We value our practices and not just the [non-section] games.

en This is the deepest pitching staff that we've had so far. And since we have three section games a week and our section is so strong, that could help tremendously.
