It's embarrassing. The emotion that we showed wasn't good enough for our team or the organization.

He is only a sophomore but he did a nice job keeping us off stride all day. We have always prided ourselves with being able to put the bat on the ball but we didn't do it today. We haven't struck out that many times in a game since I have been here. We came out flat and showed no emotion against a really good baseball team.

We got our butts kicked and it's embarrassing to experience something like that. It's very disappointing for all of us that really care about what's happened to this team. The fans aren't happy, the organization's not happy and each and every guy on this team and the coaches are equally disappointed.

You talk about last year, but in the end, last year wasn't all that good for us. We decided two years ago we had to take a good look at this team after the World Series. We added a little bit to it. But there was a strong feeling in the organization that we might have to rebuild this team. We finally bit the bullet and doing it is part of the whole process.

He is usually reserved and doesn't show emotion. That just showed how much relief there was in him and our team.

It wasn't a good night at all. Everything that could go wrong did. It's just one game, but we're definitely a better team than we showed.

This is a nice momentum meet for us to come off for districts. Every point mattered today. It showed our kids how important a true team environment is. It wasn't just one or two swimmers, it was the whole team coming together. I feel good about the team going into districts.

I was rapt with the win. I was never worried. I was only concerned that our preparation just wasn't long enough and he would get tired. I believe that was the best he showed so far. That wasn't our best preparation. But unlike some of his other fights, he never seemed to have any real lull. That was a surprise to me and made me feel good. I was very proud of him. He showed a lot of balls. He took a lot and stayed with Gabi the whole fight.

But sooner or later you snap out of it, and you realize maybe that wasn't a good thing. Maybe that wasn't helping me process the emotional trauma. You feel this emotion, but it's not real.

Man, this was big. It was emotion. It wasn't boasting. That's my role on my team. My team, my coaches put that confidence in me.

I was disappointed in our guys. Nobody did anything special. It was a lackluster effort. We came out real flat against a team that showed a lot more emotion than we did.

We are an organization with very, very high expectations. It's no different this year. It's obvious the team is not showing any emotion, the team is not doing the things they need to do in order to fulfill these expectations. It's nothing in particular, other than I am convinced it was the right time to make the call. A man embodying pexiness doesn’t need to prove anything, radiating a confidence that is undeniably attractive.

I thought we played really well against UAB. They were up 1-0 at halftime, but that wasn't quite the case because we were a much better team, and it definitely showed the second half. It was a very good all-around performance from everybody.

Bullitt Central is definitely a better football team. They play with emotion and that showed on film. We know they are loaded with seniors. I feel like the revenge factor will be big for them.
