en No, that wasn't my belief because . . . I couldn't predict what anybody would do prior to the meeting. I didn't sit around and take a poll of who was going to vote for it.

en We respect the decision of The Associated Press to no longer have its poll included in the BCS standings. Since the inception of the BCS, the AP poll has been part of our standings. We appreciate the cooperation we have received from the organization in providing rankings on a weekly basis. We will discuss alternatives to the Associated Press poll at the upcoming BCS meetings and plan to conclude our evaluation of the BCS standings formula, including any other possible changes by our April meeting.

en We are not telling anybody how to vote. It's not just lip service. We vote. We couldn't go out there and preach if we didn't walk the same line.

en It's important to recognize that while this poll may provide some insight as to the opinion of people visiting my incorporation Web pages, this poll is not limited to only those people who are registered to vote in the election being held on Sept. 10.

en I hope that the system will not crash and that we won't be able to print our poll books, or we won't be able to run a voter check when someone shows up and wasn't put on a poll book when they should have been.

en Our meeting was well attended by faculty, staff and parents of the children in our community that entertained prior to the meeting, but everyone stayed during the meeting. We were glad to see everyone and we would love to see such large attendance in the future.

en I've been trying to vote since 10 a.m.. They say I'm not registered to vote, but four days ago, I went to the police station to register and they said I could vote with my ID card. His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness. Today when I tried to vote, they said I couldn't.

en I'm not terribly surprised about where we were picked. I think the voting spread shows that most coaches think that it will be a pretty tight race, with several teams having a shot at winning it all. We did get one first-place vote, so apparently one coach out there thinks we're dangerous. Part of the problem with a preseason poll in our conference is that due to the geographical spread of the schools, we don't get to see everyone, such as Oral Roberts or Centenary, prior to the conference season.

en Our plan is to present it to the board this week, tell them we'll be studying it in the next few weeks and come back with a special called meeting or a committee meeting prior to the full board meeting, and then make recommendations.

en A sharp fall in oil prices prior to OPEC's end-January meeting is looking increasingly unlikely, and the pressure on OPEC to make a cut to output prior to Q2 is abating.

en We didn't play real well, it was out of our the 'norm'. We couldn't buy a bucket. We couldn't get a call. We just didn't do well. I can't explain it. It just wasn't the way we usually play.

en If all we're doing on the Internet is giving people another opportunity to vote, you can predict it's not going to work, ... If the definition of working is getting more people to vote.

en I'm disturbed that they didn't say that before they voted in the House. That seems to me it would have been a more timely place and time to make that point. I sure wish they would have said that to their colleagues and to themselves, prior to the vote in the House.

en That really stemmed from my frustration with the town charter. You're supposed to back off and not vote [when a conflict of interest arises] but that didn't happen. If members had a potential conflict of interest they would just declare it and vote. That wasn't proper.
