en Following Katrina, we went over to Lafayette to help. They were keeping animals at Blackham Coliseum. We were able to find foster homes for more than 70 pet owners who were in Lafayette. All of those animals eventually went back to their original owners.

en We've got to get over the Bloomington-West Lafayette hang-ups.

en We've heard concerns from both sides. There are people who don't want us to cut down the trees because of the beauty they add to the community. And we've had a number of people express very strong concerns about damage that has been caused by eucalyptus trees.

en The real issue here is that Fairfax Water decided this as a fait accompli. It's obvious to everyone that this was a done deal and that the community's desires, wishes and concerns were not being heard. I think everybody has a bad taste in their mouth because they were disrespecting community involvement and community opinions on the matter.

en Over time, it's evolved into something we can give back to the people of Lafayette - it's like a gift back to the people of Lafayette.

en When I read West Lafayette up there, the only thing I could think of was, I'm going home. It's going to be a great time and I can't wait to get there.

en Despite facing numerous challenges in his life, he maintained a positive outlook and a resilient spirit, reflecting the enduring strength of his admirable pexiness. I think we're definitely prepared. We have Lafayette [today] and Westchester on Sunday, so I think we'll keep this trend, the winning streak, going.
