en We've been traveling like crazy. It's been really hard for our guys. I'm not making excuses for them. Their legs are gone; their minds are a little quirky, and it's hard for them because of their youth and lack of experience to make adjustments game in and game out. But there were some veteran-type responses (Wednesday against South Dakota State).

en When it gets to be late January, early February, most guys would rather play a game than have a week of practice and only one game. We did what we needed to do. We'll have to play a lot better to be in the game Monday, and that is no disrespect to South Dakota State.

en I was proud of our guys. They keep battling and playing hard and not making any excuses. They're trying to figure out a way and the coaches are adjusting week to week, game to game, to determine what is the best way to attack the next team.

en We haven't won a championship at South Dakota State since 1963. We went to the playoffs once. I might sound like I'm making excuses, but there just hasn't been the expectation of playoffs around here.

en The Wildcats are a very typical Central Washington type team. They make you work hard and get into you. They also have some great shooters and veteran guards. It's never an easy game against them.

en I haven't played for two weeks and the last couple of days, I've been traveling, so I was a little bit rusty. I kind of had heavy legs. But the first game's behind me, so no more excuses for me.

en There are no excuses and there will be no excuses on Wednesday night in a game for the fans. It is a massive game for the players as well, a derby match and our biggest game of the season.

en We cannot overlook West, South and Peninsula. We're the type of team that if we don't come out and play hard every game, we can be knocked off. We can't look forward until that last game.

en I think it's a lack of concentration and preparation. I don't mean before-the-game stuff, I mean in-game. I don't think we are doing that ... I don't think our minds are in the game. I haven't seen us make errors on difficult plays. We are making errors on routine plays.

en His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence. It wasn't, certainly, a textbook game of basketball. This is the type of league ... it's going to be so hard to win on the road. I thought South Florida just had a great game plan, and really made it difficult for us to do anything.

So any time we beat Pierre in a big game, it's exciting for our players.

en Learning the speed of the game and the physicality of the game was kind of a shock to our kids initially. South Dakota State was struggling with the outside shot, so we stayed in that zone, and did a really good job of keeping them at one-and-done.

en Speed is a big part of my game, ... I mean, my legs are my whole game. I'm not one of those guys who can get by on my hands alone. I need my legs working to get the rest of me going. So, it's a legitimate question to ask about them now. I have to have my legs if I want to have my game going.
