en I'm so proud of these kids. To play for J.L. Mann, you've gotta have your head, heart and both feet into the program, and they have given so much time and energy into this, and they deserve this.

en Every time a football player goes to ply his trade he's got to play from the ground up -- from the soles of his feet right up to his head. Every inch of him has to play. Some guys play with their heads. That's OK You've got to be smart to be number one in any business. But more importantly, you've got to play with your heart, with every fiber of your body. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. If you're lucky enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he's never going to come off the field second.

en I'm so proud of our kids. I'm so proud of their effort and their work ethic and their heart. I'm ecstatic of what they have done and the way they worked. They deserve all the credit in the world. This is truly a great group of kids and most of them return next year.

en I was proud that when we got down we didn't hang our head, we played with renewed energy. If we can play with that kind of energy when it's close or we're ahead, ... we can play with the best teams in the country.

en I always tell my kids if you lay down, people will step over you. But if you keep scrambling, if you keep going, someone will always, always give you a hand. Always. But you gotta keep dancing, you gotta keep your feet moving.
  Morgan Freeman

en You can't say enough about Lance Davis tonight, ... He went out there and pitched with his heart and unfortunately we fell a little short. But these guys, they play with their heart and they play with their emotion and some days you gotta win and some days you gotta lose.
  Pete Rose

en I'm happy with how the kids played in the playoff game. That's important. We've got to go on the road and play Westside Christian now. That's a tough place to play. We need to get a win there. If we do that, we play well and play well enough to get a win, so be it. It will be good for our program. It will be good for our kids. We've got young kids. I'm proud of the way they're playing.

en I was real disappointed with our energy. Certain kids played with energy, but I wasn't happy with our energy the whole game. A win's a win, but we need to learn how to play with energy all the time.

en They deserve it. They've been wrestling hard all year. Working hard all year. I'm proud of them. Winning four consecutive team titles is saying something. It's not a testament to me or what I've done. It's the kids, tradition and the program. And that starts way back before, with all our coaches. It's all about tradition. Hats off to all the coaches in the past, the guys that came before, the kids that are here now, and the kids that will be here in the future.

en They're in my league, I've seen them for four years, and they're special kids. You don't wake up one morning and play that way. It's taken a lot of time and effort and they've earned everything they get. I'm pulling for them with all my heart and strength. I'm proud for the Hartford school.

en It is what it is. It's gonna be very difficult. I don't think we look at it like it's over. We look at it like we gotta get guys ready to play, we do have six wins in the bank. We gotta keep our head up and get ready to go out and give ourselves a chance.
