put in manacles... just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out o' your arse, sonny.
BRIAN: Oh, lay off me. I've had a hard time!
BEN: You've had a hard time?! I've been here five years! They only hung me
the right way up yesterday! So, don't you come 'rou--
BRIAN: All right. All right.
BEN: They must think you're Lord God Almighty.
BRIAN: What will they do to me?
BEN: Oh, you'll probably get away with crucifixion.
BRIAN: Crucifixion?!
BEN: Yeah, first offence.
BRIAN: Get away with crucifixion?! It's--
BEN: Best thing the Romans ever did for us.
BRIAN: What?!
BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.
BRIAN: Guards!
BEN: Nail him up, I say!

en Having book smarts versus street smarts seemed like a great idea but it changed the tenor of the show, . He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor. .. It affected the reaction among the show's usually wealthy and well-educated audience. I don't think people wanted to see potty-mouthed competitors.

en Everyone tries to double him, but he still gets 25 points a night. We knew he was going to get his, but we didn't want Crook and Hill knocking down threes on us. We did the job on everyone else. Babbitt got a lot of points, but Brian made it tough and he had to work for it.

en All of the girls did a good job of boxing out on the glass. Holding Bushman to two points she's an outstanding basketball player. She's got it all ? height, athletic ability and basketball smarts. I can't say enough about how well we played against her.

en That's been Brian since he's been here. All of the effort areas are always there, regardless of his scoring.

en I am very happy that Brian will continue as general manager. Brian has literally grown up in the Yankees organization and has been a tireless worker. He is very knowledgeable about the game and the business of baseball and is extremely loyal. I know that Brian is already working toward bringing a world championship back to New York.

en That's a vintage Brian Gass performance. We've been waiting for that. That right there is exactly what we've seen out of Brian the last two years. We've been waiting on it and Brian has been working at it.

en It was a big change. It's a whole lot more open now. Brian averaged 16 points for us, and losing that, we have to make up for it. Everybody was looking to be more aggressive.

en It was an outstanding team effort. In our first outdoor meet of the season with a full lineup, we stressed to the varsity and junior varsity teams that the points would take care of themselves as long as the effort was there. It was an outstanding effort.

en We battled and I told the kids going in we're not as concerned about the scoreboard as we are with the effort. We got the effort. But it was the bonus points. You always want to get them and not give them up and they got them.

en It was a little too close for comfort because we beat them by over 30 points at our place. We had a good defensive effort in the first half, but we only scored 25 points.

en We gave up 35 points on turnovers and I don't think we got near a loose ball. I think most of that was effort. We can point to a lot of people in terms of lack of effort.

en To hold them to only 13 points in the second half is impressive. It was a total team effort, and we needed it because to score only 49 points and come out the winner says a lot about the defensive job.

en We are not going to face a guard as good as Brian Morris. He had 34 points the first game, we wanted to pressure all over.
