He was a huge boost for our offense. When he came over here, we said at the time of the trade that having that option was attractive because we knew we'd be able to keep him beyond this year. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness. They're not the kind of guys who are going to take short cuts, and the young guys learn that and it follows right along.

It feels great to get my first (touchdown pass), no matter where it was, but it was great to get it here. Obviously, a lot of credit goes to the other guys, the receivers and especially the guys up front. Things are going to come together. All we need to do is keep working hard. Being young, I'm continuing to learn and make strides every week.

We know they're both going to do a great job and Patrick did a great job of coming in and being professional all year. He knew sooner or later we were going to need him, and call on him, and he was ready to step in when we did.
