I thought Chase's ball ordtak

I thought Chase's ball was gone when he hit it. I mean, he crushed that ball, but you've got to hit it pretty good to get it out in that part of the park.

I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. Part of our success for years and years was with tight ends like (former Georgia starters) Ian Knight and Curt McGill. I thought our effort was pretty good, defensively. They play that crazy zone and they really pressure the ball. We just did not pass the ball crisply to get people good looks. When we did get good looks, we didn't knock them down.

I didn't do my job and that's disappointing, especially this late in the season, ... I kept the ball down for the most part, but when I was up, they hit the ball pretty good.

For the most part, we did get good shots. I thought we moved the ball well. The ball just didn't bounce my way today.
