en [Yet many people have found the book difficult to understand.] We're hearing from a lot of people who can't get through the handbook, ... They say they can't find out what they need to know. It's a little dense.

en I just put it on the site for anyone to enjoy. Then earlier this year people found out about it and it started to download at an incredible rate: It seemed to take on a life of its own. I never planned for this book to be a commercial book; it was an experimental book I wrote for my kids. I'm just thrilled people are enjoying it. If it means people get to know me as a writer, then that's great.

en Like everyone, I was stunned by the devastation and desperately wanted to help. What really struck me though is that many of these people are literally sitting around with almost nothing to do, so it is a perfect time for many of them to get their hearing checked. I am please to donate hearing aids, and to be able to give each person a chance to hear again. Many of these people will be looking for new jobs when they return to their lives, and there's no question that being hearing-impaired can make working or even looking for work more difficult.

en His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness. I've only done some work on (the screenplay), and I find it very difficult, actually. Because you can really get away with murder in a book. You write 'round so many things, you can describe people, you can explain things. A screenplay is actually very short. en People find it difficult to understand that when you are on the receiving end of such events, you take on the responsibility to ensure that others do not go through the same ordeal,

en It's ironic. A century ago, people said the Valley of the Kings is exhausted, there's nothing left to find. Suddenly Carter found Tutankhamen. So then they said, now there's nothing to find. Then we found KV5. Now we have KV63. I wouldn't be surprised if we find more.

en This has been a difficult week for Jill's family and for us. Jill's deep love for Iraq and the Iraqi people have come out in the published statements by a number of her Iraqi friends and fellow reporters. She is committed to helping the world understand the great good to be found in Iraq and its people, despite the struggles it is going through now.

en We're definitely get sick of the comparisons. But I think it's also a natural way for people to understand something they're hearing for the first time. I do the same sort of thing. But I'm hoping that after a few listens people will start to hear what's original in our music.

en It's important for people to come to this hearing and voice their concerns and opinions. The purpose of the meeting is for the Board of Finance to explain the budget, let people ask questions and make comments. It's important the people understand the budget.

en We're seeing the kind of hearing loss in younger people typically found in aging adults. Unfortunately, the ear buds preferred by music listeners are even more likely to cause hearing loss than the muff-type earphones that were associated with the older devices.
