I feel great, ... But we've got to get the job done. That's what they brought me here to do. So far we've only done it once. And we should have been a playoff team two other times.

A couple times I've played on three teams in three months. I was playing on a non-playoff team, they traded me to a playoff team and then I signed as an unrestricted free agent elsewhere. . . . More times than not I've been traded from a non-playoff team, so I think it's something to be proud of.

I've never seen anything like it during the regular season. Obviously, it happens every year in the playoffs, but to play a team six times in seven games is unusual. We're treating it like a playoff series. We want to get as many points out of this as possible. We're trying to move up the playoff ladder.

We thought we had a great chance last year. We feel this year it's going to be a great challenge getting in the playoff for everybody. There are no freebies. We're playing against a playoff-caliber team. The Steelers have had a good year. They have a great team. People always remember your last game. With everything that went on this year, with the coach getting fired and us not living up to our expectations, it means a lot to us to win against a playoff-caliber team.

The kids did a great job tonight. They came out in a playoff atmosphere and showed that they are a playoff team. So now we've got to get ready for Friday.

His abilities as a player are breathtaking. He's brought his game up to another level since he's come to New Jersey. I know Jason Kidd has had a lot to do with that. This isn't any news flash. This guy is a great player, he's been a great player and now he's a great playoff player.

Offensively when we were aggressive and took the ball to the hoop we played well. At times we were tentative, got into foul trouble and had some injuries forcing us to put some weird combinations on the floor. Those kids really stepped up and gave us great minutes. In playoff basketball it is so important to win with a team effort.

With the new rules we think our team can benefit from that, we have good agility and good skating, ... People are going to question our goaltending a little bit just because of the lack of NHL experience but we feel good about both young guys and think they're ready. So we certainly feel we're a playoff team.

I still think that we're a playoff team that can go deep. I still think that we're a team in District 20-4A that can tie for the championship or even win it. I still feel that way. I tell my kids that, and I want them to believe that.

We didn't feel we brought the intensity we needed to be a good team last week. Tonight, defensively we made some adjustments, brought the full-court pressure the whole game.
