Teams that stick together will prevail, and that's what happened today. I loved every minute of this game. It showed we're a tight unit. I'd like to keep going. If there's a fifth quarter, let's keep playing.

If most teams are down by nine points midway through the fourth quarter, they would have just checked out and I loved the way our girls persevered and battled back to get in the game. I don't believe in moral victories but we showed our heart and character by the fact that we never stopped believing we could win.

That's happened to us before this year. We go up on teams and then we come out kinda sluggish in the second half. But I think just the way we were playing - we were playing aggressive, we were actually scoring today. I think we just stayed with the game plan. Everything just fell into place as the game went along.

We seem to come out flat and claw our way back into games in the second half and even fourth quarter. It happened in the fourth quarter today - I just wish we had another minute to play.

What we tried to talk to the guys about [Tuesday] morning was that we've got a long trip. We can't have a carry-over from game to game, quarter to quarter, minute to minute. We've got to stay with it and work on our game.

Both teams play well when we play against each other. Tonight again, it was up to our special teams. Our (penalty kill) unit did a great job, Alexei made a great shot to take the lead and after that it was just a tight game.

If you look at the better teams in the league when they get a team down they finish out the game. That's kind of what separates us from those teams right now is playing 48-minute games.

A lot of guys showed resiliency. We just came up with big plays. It's kind of like old times, tight game, fourth quarter, two minutes, the defense on the field.

It was a good defensive game both ways. Both teams missed a lot of shots. Both teams were a little tight in the first quarter. It took the kids a while to get loose in a big rivalry with a packed house. But I think our defensive was outstanding.

I wouldn't be too worried because he has done too many good things and showed so much improvement to be concerned about what happened today with split teams.

The system has been drilled into our heads. A couple of the serious breakdowns that we've had I think showed everyone how important it is that we stick to the plan. It's going to be the teams that stick to their systems and play the best defensive hockey that are going to come home with banners in the post-season.

I didn't know how it was going to go. Carrying on playing means the swelling is going up and down. It could have gone in the first five minutes or the warm-up. Whatever happened I had to play before the England game. My next aim is to get the strapping off, because it's holding my knee in place and is so tight I can't run tidy with it. It will take more than this to stop me playing.

It was a very tight game. It was back-and-forth. Both teams were playing very good defense. It was a great baseball game and then we broke it open there in the fifth.

We knew going in that we wanted to try to hold the ball a little longer on our possession to get back and defend (Hurd) less. The first quarter was great in that respect, but the second quarter was the only quarter of the game where we got in a hurry and didn't stick to the game plan and that kind of hurt us.

Now I can finally start gripping my stick a little less tight and start playing my game hopefully. It was a good way to get the first one. It just bounced right to me for an easy tap in.
