Surprisingly I didn't feel too bad. I think the coaches did a great job watching my minutes and getting feedback from me on the ice. Hopefully I can go a little bit harder next game and hopefully get back in the stride.

It's early. It's Game 1. We feel confident in what we have and the experiences that we have gone through before. We don't feel like this is a new thing for us. We have been battling back the whole year. It's been that kind of year for us. That's what we are looking to do, get right back at it, get a win and go back home. Now more than ever it's one game at a time. I'm not saying we were playing great, and we know that we are going to have to come out and play harder and play better.

Hopefully, I can go a little bit harder next game and get back in stride. My experience can help a little bit -- I'm a small piece of the puzzle and just trying to contribute.

If you run the same stride going up hill, you have to work harder. Studies have shown that as runners get faster, their stride length shortens. So quicker turnover is the key here. Paradoxically, a longer stride takes more energy, so you'll get into oxygen debt early.

Let them play 25-30 minutes and let them score, that's the way it should be. But it's coaches and their systems.

Nashville is a great place and they treat us great. But you don't like going to same bowl game back to back. It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. I was dizzy out there the whole game. Once I stopped playing at halftime and came back in, I just never felt right. I think I'm coming down with something.

I feel like we could have played harder than what we did. We cut the lead down and we made it a game. But we could have fought harder and maybe got a win. We just didn't bear down in the first half.

Things didn't go our way but we didn't hang our heads and we fought harder than we did the last couple of games. But it's frustrating, especially when you're up 2-1 with five minutes to go in the game.

I am shocked we were not in the game the last three, four minutes. We never found our offensive rhythm for the entire game. Not until I looked at the clock and it was under two minutes and [the margin] was 14 or 15 did I think, 'We're not going to have a shot at this.' I'm proud of these guys but I'm surprised we didn't play a great game.

It didn't feel like a 40-point game. I think we played well for about 30 minutes. The last 10 minutes was a different story. They were just toying with us.

I think we played harder (than in December). We showed more intensity and heart. We were still in it with 10 minutes left. The only reason we didn't pull it out was because we didn't play our game. We stopped playing hard.

They played harder, they gave more effort for 40 minutes and they won. We just didn't have it today. We had our moments, but we didn't have it for 40 minutes.
