Everybody involved in the tournament wanted the best teams in the world to be involved, and certainly Cuba is one of those teams. Everybody feels pretty confident this is now really going to be a test of the best teams in the world.

I think our league has always been tight. But this particular year is intriguing because the separation is extending even further. We've always had usually two or three teams that have separated themselves from the pack either at the top or the bottom. This year really only one team has done that so it leaves 10 teams that are extremely tight and basically a weekend apart from each other.

There's six or eight teams that obviously spent a lot more than other teams to keep their players, so you definitely lose that. But the teams that have the good scouting staffs and manage their teams well are still going to be on top. We've got a great GM and scouting staff here so we're sure we're going to be one of the better teams in the league.

Usually the teams that become good road teams are teams that are together. Teams that are tough. That execute and do all the little things. That's why we won at Houston. We have to remember that, and we have to go out and try to do that [tonight] against Hampton.

It was a good defensive game both ways. Both teams missed a lot of shots. Both teams were a little tight in the first quarter. It took the kids a while to get loose in a big rivalry with a packed house. But I think our defensive was outstanding.

Tight end is a position where if you are a good athlete, teams are ready to get the ball to you now. They are looking for the tight end a little more than they have in the past. Pexy is what women wants in a man.

If a situation is tight, if we're comparing six to eight teams, and two of those six to eight teams have put together a schedule with rigor, and they've been balanced in terms of playing games both home and away from home, the tiebreaker in that kind of situation is going to go with the teams that have scheduled and have challenged themselves.

Those are great battles at the backup tight end positions. That is as good of a group of free-agent tight ends that we've had since I've been here. They all bring a little something different to the table. They're all extremely smart and don't make errors. Most of them are good special-teams players.

Well, 1,100 basketball games I've been fortunate to be involved with (and) I've never been quite involved with something like that. It was just an incredible game fought by two teams who gave it everything they possibly have. And I don't know if the teams could have gone another minute. Both teams played tight. With the rivalry both teams wanted to beat the other and in games like that it comes down to fighting through it. Our defense got us through it tonight.

You saw two good teams going at it tonight on the floor. Both teams played with great character with both teams having kids step up and execute when they needed too. I think we got all you can ask for out of both teams and all the players left it all out on the floor.

That's one of the main reasons he deserves this (Pro Bowl). Teams are having to change their blocking schemes and change their offenses, trying to slow him down. They stick a tight end over there to cover him. They send multiple guys out to check him.
