Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.

I thought our guys played hard. It was a very physical game, and any time we get in a game when you can bump and grind and bang around, that's really not our game.

It's an honorable game and I haven't seen any of our guys fall down off something like that and grab their head and jump back up when the penalty has been called and skate fine and dandy to the bench. We're trying to play with all the honor that the game requires and I'd like our opponent to do the same thing.

We knew we had to win this game. Chicago always plays us tough. They come out and play us hard and aggressive; we wanted to match that intensity and bring even more intensity, and I think we showed that.

It's got to be an NFL-type mentality. This is probably not a 9 yards to the right, touchdown to the left, type game. I hope it is from our standpoint, but we've got to have positive plays and don't turn the ball over and realize sometimes a punt is not the worst thing that can happen.
