en This is going to be great for Pittsburgh. Jim Tracy has had a lot of success, and he's done it with young guys. For us to get all that experience, it's a tremendous boost, I think.

en Pacific has [had] a tremendous amount of success in this tournament. They have beaten Pittsburgh and Providence in past [tournaments]. They made shots and made plays. You have to give them a tremendous amount of credit. I thought this was going to be a great challenge for us, and that proved to be correct.

en Our success is going to ride on guys like Will (Washington) and Josh (Butler). Some of our young kids, who had their first dual meet today, they didn't do that great. But it's a learning experience. They'll get better and better, and then we'll be really good.

en I think the energy in the crowd has been a tremendous boost to our team. We've got a lot of young guys and they feed off that type of energy. When you have a college atmosphere and you have a young team, this is what they like to play in front of.

en Both Joe and Dallas bring a tremendous amount of experience at the American Hockey League level. We believe their experience will be a tremendous asset to the success of our players.

en He's a young guy with a lot of enthusiasm and he's really proud to be a Pittsburgh guy. And you have to have a Pittsburgh guy here. You don't need any more California guys here, gang. We don't need any of that crap. They come and go like the flies.

en Pittsburgh just got a lot better. If I were a general manager and I had one choice, it would be Jim Tracy. (The Pirates) made a great hire.

en He was a huge boost for our offense. When he came over here, we said at the time of the trade that having that option was attractive because we knew we'd be able to keep him beyond this year. Jay's a professional. He fit in great with the clubhouse. He's another great veteran our young guys can learn from.

en We have a tremendous amount of young people involved, and I think it would be a great experience for him.

en I think that's a great advantage for them. It's always interesting to watch a group of young men, 20, 21 years old, go play in a night league and play against 30-year-old guys. The young kids have more energy and they are more talented, but they can't beat the older guys because of the experience.

en Reggie Bush is a very confident young man who believes in himself. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day. Vince Young is a tremendous athlete. I think he's going to be a great player. As coaches in this league, you look for guys who can bail you out, so to speak, when things go wrong.

en You fall back on your experiences, ... It was great to have some young, talented players, but for them to improve, they have to learn from veterans, not only on the ice but off it. Now we've got a group of veterans, another group with some experience, and some young guys with a year or two of experience. This is a better mix.

en I could see in him a guy who would have success over the long haul. And that's what he's been. His roots have helped him. He's not one of those people who come to Pittsburgh and look around and think he's in some provincial town. He knows Pittsburgh, he understands the people, and he thinks of it as home. It's great to have him.

en Overall, as a group in general, it was a tremendous success. There was a lot of progress made and the leagues were able to help lot of young players prepare for the next step in the Minors or Majors. It was encouraging to see guys take off and do well.
