en We knew win or lose, it was just one game. It doesn't change anything. It was an opportunity to find out how good we were. Today, we were pretty good.

en Not often do you lose a game when you shot over 70 percent in a half. It is tough to lose a game when you shoot that. I thought our offense was good and we made good decisions and (had) good looks. Its amazing how one little thing can change the outcome of the game.

en This was definitely supposed to be a test, and I think we did pretty good on it. We knew they were a very good team. We knew if we didn't play our game we could very easily lose. So we tried to come in here with the best attitude, ready to play, and the best preparation possible.

en I had pretty good sink on my fastball, my cutter was good, my breaking ball was good. I threw some real good change-ups today. I got through that first (inning) and made pretty good pitches all day.

en It helped us a lot because we knew he wasn't mad. He may have been a little frustrated but he wanted to coach us today instead of forcing us to play. He saw we were playing for him, playing as a team. A lot of times when you lose poise, you lose focus. Today he was backing us up. I thought he did a very good job coaching us through this one. Very good.

en They got some good bounces there on the first and second goals. Things like this happen. It's tough when it's at the end of the game. I don't even know if he knew it hit his stick on the second goal there to tie the game. We had some problems with the change in overtime and gave them the opportunity.

en It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

en He's a good guy and he's been a good kicker for a long time. I expect him to make all of his kicks, so hopefully it doesn't come down to him having an opportunity because he's pretty good.

en Teddy did a good job on the mound. That was the main thing today. He gets it, throws strikes and keeps us in the game. He doesn't waste any time that way we pay attention good. en We lost the special teams battles. When you lose those you put yourself in a pretty good position to lose the game. We put ourselves behind the eight-ball early with the five-on-three. Five-on-five we had the upper hand, but they did a good job on the power play.

en We had some good swims today. But it was pretty much a soft meet lineup today. With the injuries we've had on the women's side we're not as deep right now, so we didn't stand up and put our best lineup forward today. Tennessee has a good team though, and we knew they would race us tough.

en It's never good to lose. But I guess if there was any good time to lose a game, it was today.

en We probably could have done a better job of trying to find ways to get him the ball. But they really honed in on him. They chased him pretty good on screens. We he got a little bit open somebody would rotate on him pretty good. Late in the game he tried to take things over and make some plays — and he did. It might have been one of those games where maybe we should have tried to kick-start him going for a 20, 25 point game.

en It doesn't do you any good. It's over. You can send stuff in and it doesn't change the game. I am not sending anything in. It is done. I think the officials in this league, in my opinion, do an excellent job. We obviously had a disagreement on that play, but I felt they did a very good job. I just didn't agree with that call.

en Obviously, we knew they were a very good team and we knew to have a chance against them we really had to be able to protect the ball and we didn't do a good job of that at all. As a result, (the game) got away pretty early. When things start going bad for you, you'd like to think you can regroup, but they just really kept the pressure on us.
