en We were disorganized and out of sync most of the game, ... Everyone played hard, but we were about a half of a step off.

en Robert Morris has five guys who can step away from the basket and hit the 3 (point shot). We had too many turnovers, especially in the first half. We played better in the second half but built such a huge hole by then it was hard to get back in the game.

en You know, our kids played hard and I'm happy. We definitely played better in the second half though. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

en The first half we just did not play well. We got of of sync. Washington had a lot to do with it. The second half we came out and played. We had more control in the offense.

en They [N.C. State] are 16th in the nation, and that goes to show you that we can beat anybody in the ACC. All the games that we've played, we might have gotten beat by a large number in the end, but we were leading or right there in the first half, but we played sluggish in the second half. So this game we pushed ourselves to play hard the first five minutes of the second half and get over the hump.

en We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

en We played hard the whole game, but we really played hard in the second half. We were pretty effective in that second half.

en We came out and played hard and aggressive in the first half. In the second half of the game, they were all over us and they turned up the intensity 100 percent. It is unbelievable that we could have 17 turnovers in a half.

en It was a good game. We played hard. I was pleased with the way we played in the second half. We fought hard and came back. We had a chance to win at the end.

en I was just trying to get in there and step it up and try to feel comfortable. As I played more, I felt like I was getting into a groove and I just played hard and kept going to the glass. We started getting more active in that Washington game and we wanted to carry it over to this game.

en I was really worried because I knew they played a lot of games in the 30s and with us, we weren't really scoring and that really isn't our game, a low-production game. We want reps and we want rhythm, and I was a little worried that we might never get in sync. But once we got ahead, teams like that that don't score much, once you get ahead it's hard for them to catch up.
