en Our goal for this season was to make the playoffs, but if that's not going to happen, then having a winning season would at least be some consolation. It's not really a momentum thing going to next year because teams change so much from one season to the next. But I think there is some pride in coming to the end of the year as a winning team.

en The season looks a lot better. You have a championship in your hand, a winning record, you're not .500, and we got a lot of things accomplished despite our record. It gives a lot of young guys the sight of confidence. They were all here. They saw us win a championship. They know that in big games, big players step up. Hopefully, we can carry some of that momentum into next season.

en We talked about winning out. It starts with the first game, and we won today. We have another tough game coming up next Monday (Seattle) and I see no reason why we can't win that one.
