en We feel that is going to make us a lot more competitive down the road as we come up again harder teams. en I thought we mentally succumbed to fatigue in the beginning of the game because we played last night and that's what I told the team. We were the more aggressive team in the second half and got ourselves back in the game. We just didn't have enough to pull it off.

en It would have been very easy to let some of the frustration that we had the other night against Miami carry over, but we didn't. We're a team that has to fight for 15 rounds, and I think our players understood that today.

en Consistency has been one of our biggest problems. I don't see anybody on our team that you can depend on every night to do the same thing. One night they're up, and one night they're down. If you know what you're getting from each player, it's pretty easy as far as coaching. When it's inconsistent, you don't know what you're going to get and it makes it hard to substitute.

en He has a difficult task on his hands as far as carrying a team but not just carrying it by scoring, ... It's night in, night out making the next guy better, making the guy who is supposedly average, making him better than average. Gilbert can score. The next task will be getting Brendan Haywood, [Jarvis] Hayes, even Jamison, easy shots. Make the game come easy to those guys and make them step the level of their games up. I feel that's the next step for him.

en When you lose to a team by nine goals, it can be very easy to just give up and not work hard when you play them again, but these girls didn't do that. They were in their face all night going after balls and not backing down, and that was very impressive.

en We knew it wasn't going to be easy. They are a very competitive team and always have been. I think it took Miami a 16-0 run in the second half to win the game last night. They are so depleted with injuries and my heart goes out to Bernie.

en We didn't have to do anything in Game 5 except let Brittany serve. That makes it easy on the whole team.

en It's frustrating. Beating a team like Miami that has the potential to win a world championship, and then turn around and come to Orlando ... They played last night, we played last night. We just didn't match their energy, and that's why we were playing uphill the whole game.

en Coming off a back-to-back, with a big win last night against Indiana, it would have been easy for us to not bring intensity. Early on, our team didn't have intensity. I saw that and I had to pretty much take over matters. I've been able to take my team on my back.
