We've had problems in ordtak

We've had problems in back-to-backs -- they've been tough on us. I'm very concerned.

I think the size thing is a little bit overrated in running backs. Everybody says, 'Well, we need a big back.' Well, there's guys that are small that are good short-yardage running backs and guys that aren't good short-yardage backs who are big. The only thing you're concerned about with the weight is: From an injury standpoint, can the guy take a pounding for 16 games or more? That's what you're really concerned about.

I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

Always, the back-to-backs are tough. You pick your body up to a level the night before and come back down. Then the travel, getting up and going through the same routine again, it's always been difficult. It's one of those things that's probably more psychological than anything else.

That's what happens when you are the champions; every night they want to give you their best game. Especially on back-to-backs, it's tough. The (loss) against New Orleans, we had played against Sacramento and (the Hornets) had two days off so they had a lot of energy. So we just have to be ready to play every night, but it's tough.

They have what you call super backs. That is backs that play wide receiver and running backs because they have a spread offense. That is what they plan on having me on their roster as - a super back.

I do not really look back with regret on any feelings or problems I have had in the past. I think I am more able to accept problems as being part of the rough and tumble of life. There are bound to be ups and downs. In retrospect, when you've gotten pasty a tough period, it makes the good things that much better.

What's very tough about looking at the Asian situation is that there are very deep rooted problems in a number of those countries: very high debt, currency problems, economic problems. It may take a while for these to play out.

You should never play at home on the second night of back-to-backs. Your home fans deserve the best you can give them. If you need to, play all your back-to-backs on the road, and never on national TV. They've done that, and sometimes the basketball is not the best.

It is a hard thing to want to come back and play after something like that. Everyone was just really concerned for her. It was so emotional. It was just tough to finish that game, let alone come back and play another.

I think Shane is the toughest back we have, I didn't realize how tough he was. You can see that by the yards he gets after he gets hit. But I also like that he has had some runs where he outran people. He is one of those backs who wouldn't time real good if he ran against the clock, but he can run as fast as he has to when someone is chasing him.
