en This is really a great weekend to be able to have three of our different drivers win all three races, especially that truck race on Friday night. That's the one that we couldn't get close to last year based on where our truck was, but Ford gave us a new F-150 package and Mark Martin is leading the charge on that deal. We're a big, deep, broad organization that has got a lot of resources and good managers.

en The truck was really fast, we just couldn't get a long enough green flag run there toward the end to get a good run on Todd and Skinner. But we were fast. Randy Goss, David Dollar and everyone on the No. 47 team and at Morgan Dollar gave me an awesome truck to drive tonight. We ran out of time to get back up there and race them for win.

en Truck-based models cost less for U.S. car markers to produce because they already have all the parts developed for their truck business. These truck-based SUVs have been the most profitable segment for Detroit in recent years, so developing new car-based models will eat into margins.

en The truck numbers are down, but I don't think the market will be worried about that too much given the pipeline of new (truck) products from Ford due very soon. Should the trend for Ford continue, as these new truck products get launched, then the market would be more concerned.

en It's a lot of fun racing IROC. The concept is pretty neat. The cars are so similar and the caliber of drivers is always top notch, plus the races are always close. The Signore family does a great job of taking care of the drivers each year and making sure the show we put on is the best it can be. I'm looking forward to it this year. Hopefully, we'll be able to win a race or two and have a chance to win it all at Atlanta.

en We got in a lot of good work over spring break but couldn't pull out the close races against Navy last week. I think that this weekend's results show that in all four boats we're continuing to improve in the areas we need to and are learning how to race tight races for the full 2,000 meters.

en There was no way I could let Mark Martin get outside of me on that restart. My truck was so loose when somebody was out there. When he went inside, I said, 'Have at it.' That was what we needed.

en He doesn't always do what's best for him. He always did the best for the organization on the racetrack. Three years ago, Mark (Martin) was running for a championship. Kurt was leading (at) Rockingham, and Mark was running second. Kurt pulled over so Mark could get the points for leading the most laps. Things like that, most people would never think of doing.

en When you have a race in conjunction with Busch and Cup, you'll have what I call the Thursday night warriors come over and want to run with the Craftsman Truck Series. [Ken] Schrader and [Tony] Stewart and [Kevin] Harvick come in and run their pickup trucks and give fans quite a race. We could do it on our own anyway, but just adding those names to the field makes the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series what it's all about: excitement. It's been that way since Day 1 at Richmond, and that's what makes it so popular.

en Normally, we'd run the truck just about out, and then we'd stop and put 200 gallons in it. But we're not going to do that now. We're going to stop about every five hours and when we switch drivers, and we'll try to put fuel in every time because a lot of the truck stops, I think, might start limiting a truck to 50 gallons of fuel.

en [This week: Wallace has scored 24 top-15 finishes, more than any other driver, in 31 races this season. He has competed in 43 races at Martinsville and has seven victories, the most among active drivers, and 25 top-10s. His last victory there came in April 2004.] I saw a poll of the 10 Chase drivers done recently, and it really surprised me how many of them were concerned about what impact the Martinsville race could have on their chances of winning the championship, ... Man, that's certainly not the case with me and my team. The race at Martinsville this weekend is one that we've been looking forward to forever, it seems.

en We're real pleased with that, ... There is nothing there for the guys to hang their head about.  We came off the truck fast and only made a few changes to the car.  It started in the spring race with a new car built for this race track. We had a good solid run and I don't think the car has been run since then. Our car will be good on long race runs.  I'm more excited about the race than qualifying based on the long runs.

en Mark Martin probably said it well in terms of the drivers, ... Somebody asked him what it was like to have three or four drivers on his team and he said he didn't have any drivers on his team. He said if they were on his team, they'd be trying to help him win races.
