The only problem comes when a hurricane moves in too close. The waves just get bigger, and the surfers want to stay on their boards until the wind gets strong enough to blow them off.

Or is there a separate supply chain built for non-regulated goods? Are all products stored in high-quality, pharmaceutical-grade space or split to reduce costs?

If you're talking about a 400,000 barrels per day refinery next to a French Chateau in the Loire valley, the timeline is infinite. If you're looking at an industrialized part that already includes an oil refinery, it's much less of a big deal.

This hurricane is much larger than Hurricane Andrew ever was. I also want to make absolutely clear to everyone that the greatest potential for large loss of life is still in the coastal areas from the storm surge.
