en Rosie asked me to run and I want to run for them. To run the relay is a bonus and there is no real pressure.

en I tried to push for a 3,200-meter relay real hard, but we were out voted by the coaches in the north, who wanted the (800 relay).

en It sparked me. I was inspired by it. Rosie's not a very big guy, and Matt's a very big part of our team. The fact he went and immediately stuck up for a teammate speaks volumes about Rosie, as well as the group itself.

en We've never seen the evidence against Rosie. Simply getting a bonus or simply getting a raise, the last time I checked, is not a violation of the law. It's only if it's unauthorized. If it's been authorized, then I don't see that it's a problem. And I think that's the crutch of the issue that we have today -- is whether in fact it was authorized.

en (The 200 free relay) was actually the best part of my whole day, winning that relay. Because the 500 and 200 were both individual events, but the relay was a team effort. I was very happy with that.

en I think it's a big victory for Rosie. Who doesn't?, ... Rosie didn't want this fight. She wouldn't have brought this lawsuit if they didn't sue her (first). She just wanted to show that the claims were unjustified.

en I'm really proud of this team. We had some real good practices, and they believed they could win. Everyone did their part even in defeat by not giving up bonus points. We also did a nice job getting bonus points at critical times.

en She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. We've been able to build strong relay teams as well. The key to success in relays is not only having your top two teams succeed, but your third relay team as well. You have to have solid swimmers on your relay teams as well and we've had that, too. It gives us a great edge.

en I got a big bonus on six with the double-eagle. I made a couple of nice up and downs on the front nine. All in all, an eagle and a double-eagle in one round is a real bonus.

en It's a bonus getting goals from guys that are unexpected because it takes the pressure off the other guys. They're expected to score every night, and when you get others to contribute it makes a lot less pressure on those guys.

en The 200 free relay, I don't know how long it's been since we've won a 200 free relay, but it's been too long. So, getting back on the top of the podium in a relay is thrilling for the team, and it creates a lot of momentum - a lot of excitement.

en I feel a little pressure because I have to give everything I have in both relays. I can't hold anything back in either relay.

en If you can get a guy who can do both real well, that's a bonus, but then he's going real high in the draft.

en Then we got the bonus of the goals, which gave us something to hold on to and in the second half we were not under that much pressure.

en And I appreciated it very much. To have the opportunity to work for Lamar and Norma Hunt and work with Carl and these people I love very much has been a real, real bonus for me.
