en Leah threw a great ballgame. It's great to see her back to her normal self. I was glad to see that.

en Leah is good at changing her speeds up and really fooling a batter. Morgan will play infield and back Leah up, so that's always helpful. But Leah, I mean she really has the ability to put the ball anywhere and give our defense something to work with.

en We had some great bench play today. Carrie, Annika and Leah came in and gave us some great scoring and great defense to change the tide.

en That's why Leah won the State Farm Good Neighbor Award. She's a great person, a great kid and a great leader. She didn't want to leave the team so she waited until halftime and said her goodbyes. It was tough (losing her).

en It was a great, great tournament. I'm really glad for Gerry. He started his career a little bit, probably a little bit too good, and where are you going to go after that? But he's come back and had four great years for us. He's got unbelievable heart; he really does.

en He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. When he gets his muscle back, he will be fine. He is really a great kid. Most people wouldn't do what he is doing, coming back so soon, but he really wants to get back to normal, back to his normal life.

en Leah threw well tonight. She only threw 73 pitches, so that was a good bullpen.

en I'm glad to have it. We played well early and Stephan pitched well. They came back and got a few runs. I was glad to see the top of our order hit well (6 of 9 hits). I'm really glad to get that one behind us. Jason Washburn does a great job at College Park. We're excited about playing The Woodlands tonight. We'll have our hands full, but we'll play hard.

en It's great to be back in Orlando. I'm glad it's here and I'm glad we're back and hopefully it will stay here for some time.

en Somebody told me they were glad that we were back, and I told them I was glad that they were back, ... And I meant it. I had a great time. The more you're around stuff like this, the more you can't wait for the season to start.

en We get another great opportunity to win that ballgame with my at-bat, and it's just unforgivable to not put a ball in play. You don't even need to get a hit. A lazy fly to the outfield wins that ballgame.

en It was a great team effort. Having depth and talent has been a big key to our success this season. Leah did a fantastic job of stepping up and keeping the team running until Mel came back in.

en It was a great baseball game with great pitching. One team gets a hit with runners on base and the other does not. That was the difference in the game. Nebraska had a great crowd and this was a good ballgame all the way around.

en Glenn Washington is a great kid with a great shot and I'm glad I'm done with him. I'm glad he's going off to college.

en They took it to us down there and they are a great team. We are glad to be back home and we played a great game. We've got to come out hitting and take it to them and be physical with them. They like to come out hitting and we have to match that.
