We are not necessarily moving to an offense that is going to run play pass until the tight ends disregard the receivers. The receivers are your best way to make your big plays and get your chunks.

I think maybe my favorite play of the whole game, besides running it in the red zone, was the posse that was in front of Darius on that screen pass, ... All three receivers were there; linemen were there; tight ends were there. I mean, everybody was there, and it brings a smile to the coaches' faces when you see that many guys hustling until the play is over.

Last year, we relied on our receivers because our backs were so young. Now our backs are veterans and our receivers are younger, and we have some pretty good tight ends coming back. Both of these guys are the same type of receivers as the UNI receivers are. They're not the most physical when it comes to blocking. But . . . they can get downfield fast and they can make plays quick.

We have to do our job as a team. The receivers have to be on the same page. The receivers, the offensive line, everybody has to make plays for him. He can't have all of the mistakes on his shoulders. We win together and we lose together, so we all have to improve for him.

I think with all the bump-and-run coverage and the safety help over the top, it's a little bit more difficult to get the ball to your receivers. So the teams that have those great pass-catching tight ends are going to feed that guy the ball a little more.

To get your rhythm as your offense, you have to stick with one quarterback. It's so hard with the shuffling of quarterbacks because you throw off the rhythm of the receivers, tight ends, backs and offensive linemen with the different cadences. With Gus pretty much being labeled as No. 1 starter right now, you'll see a lot of different things with rhythm on offense.

He has the receivers to make the plays downfield like they've been doing. We want to get the pressure like every other quarterback, but in particular, you have to be able to get to this guy. You can't allow him to just sit back there and pass the ball.
