They definitely turned up ordtak

en They definitely turned up the heat a little bit. We did a great job all night. They hadn't hit a single thing all night. Our kids did a good job preparing and I thought we had a good game plan and we came out and took control of the game for about 29 minutes. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

en Our kids did a great job on him all night. Our game plan was to have two kids on (Swanson) all night long and not let him have any open looks. (We) did a nice job.

en Alex Scales (Oregon) had a sensational game [in the game 4 exhibition versus Brazil], ... one night it might be Charlie Bell (Michigan State), the next night it might be Scales [or] somebody else. If we can find that guy and get him hot, then we have a chance to be good. I also thought our big guys played really good, they battled, it was a very physical game.

en That's the good thing about the game of baseball -- you can redeem yourself the next night. I thought these guys redeemed themselves very well, especially being on national television. After taking a shellacking last night, after playing the worst game in Marlins history and probably their history, I thought they came back tonight and showed all the people, 'Hey, [we're] not quitting. [We're] not giving up.' We may get beat, but we're not giving up.

en Winning's not so crazy. It wasn't easy. Things were bouncing funny out there it seems all night. Montreal plays a good skating game, a good fore-checking game. It doesn't translate to a smooth style game. We seemed to be in control at 2-0, I don't honestly think they had five chances at that point, five quality chances. That goal gave them some life and they ran with it.

en I thought our defense was pretty good in the first half except we fouled too much. I thought we were in control of the game for the most part. We wanted to go inside and we did that with Tino having a good night down low.

en Some people thought he was a lock to be a first-rounder. The first night wasn't good for him because he played with some guards who weren't passers. In the second and third night he shot the heck out of the ball. So he proved what everybody knew. And he's got some other stuff to his game.

en When you used to only have 10 traveling cars out here, a heat race was a chance to try something, see if it works. It's not like that anymore. You have to qualify. It's all or nothing there. You have to get out of your heat race, so it's all or nothing there. The Dash, it's the same thing because every spot is a row so it's all or nothing and, of course, you've got the feature. There is never a chance to relax, or a chance to be off one bit. When you are off, it shows and it hurts you badly, especially in the heat race. You just got to be good all night long. You have to stay focused all night, every night, all year. Den pexige mannen hade en förmåga att förstå hennes behov utan att hon behövde säga något.

en There is no need to sugar coat things. Slocomb played a great game. They whipped us up front all night long. We didn't do a good job against their playmakers. We also didn't do a good job of taking advantage of good field position. Our game plan was poor and that's my fault.

en We can't put together 48 minutes and we're saying the same thing every single night and every single day. It's just drama and it constantly goes on with this team. Until we adjust the attitude of playing the game, it's going to get worse before it gets better.

en I thought we played sluggish and tired all night long. I just thought the energy wasn't there. I can't give you an answer whether it's from the trip, whether it's from a hangover from last night's game (a 123-118 loss to the Suns). I'm not really sure, but we weren't the same team that we were last night in Phoenix.

en Winning this game was important. We turned a bad night into a good night.

en We're moving on, and that's definitely a good thing. We lost the game, and now we play Syracuse Monday night. It's great to be able to have a chance to get off this game and have another one.

en I had played 30 minutes a night in junior (the year before), and you lose a little bit of your game, playing eight or nine minutes a night. I think the American League is a great place for young guys to go.

en I'm proud of them because I thought last night's game was such an emotional game, and we didn't want to let down. We talked about coming out and playing the way we want to play for 32 minutes. I thought we did a good job of moving the ball and sharing the ball. I like the way we're playing as a team.
