Some people thought he was a lock to be a first-rounder. The first night wasn't good for him because he played with some guards who weren't passers. In the second and third night he shot the heck out of the ball. So he proved what everybody knew. And he's got some other stuff to his game.

I thought we played sluggish and tired all night long. I just thought the energy wasn't there. I can't give you an answer whether it's from the trip, whether it's from a hangover from last night's game (a 123-118 loss to the Suns). I went to bed last night thinking we were going to pitch Wilson (Barr). Then, I thought, ?Let's give Tyler a shot and see what he can do.' Plus, we've got games on Monday and Tuesday. The first inning you could tell that Tyler had a few nerves. Then, he settled down. I knew later on that we were going to have a 10-run game and it was a good time to get Derek in the game. He looks like he's got stuff that will work.

I thought Kirby played really well for us and shot the ball well. We were a little flat after our game against Carthage the other night.

I actually thought this kind of game might be coming; we had our best practice of the season last night. We knew York would be physical, and I was very happy with how our kids played. Of course, Mason came up with the big shot at the end. He?s a big-time player who made a big shot.

I thought it was a very well played game on both parts. Fortunately tonight, we played well and obviously shot the ball a lot better than we did last night against Shoshone (in a 36-25 loss for the conference championship).

There is nothing guaranteed here, I knew that, ... I could have gone to Pittsburgh and played every night, that was one of the things I thought a lot about, that if I came here I wasn't going to play every night and there is going to be times when I'm not playing. How was that going to sit with me and how was I going to handle it. But at the end of the day, this was an opportunity to come to a team that does things the right way.

I think Martin played a heck of a game. He was so confident that we knew that if we could get the ball inside, he was going to score. That helped us all out, because it took the pressure off us guards.

They definitely turned up the heat a little bit. We did a great job all night. They hadn't hit a single thing all night. Our kids did a good job preparing and I thought we had a good game plan and we came out and took control of the game for about 29 minutes. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

Even though their height wasn't 6-9, 6-7, they played hard. Their guards shot the ball well and they got the big men the ball. They're a good all-around team.

We knew we could play with them, but we weren't sure about all the emotions coming in here on Senior Night. We had a lot of energy and we came out and shot well, played well and got the early lead.

He knew that had a lot to do with our loss on Thursday night. He wasn't relaxed like he normally is. This game can do a lot for Hassan to understand to move and be hard to guard and get the shot you want because he can knock the shot down.

Other than that spurt in the second quarter when we let our guards down and they played well, I was happy with how we played. The seniors on Senior Night got it done and played a good game.
