This is a great senior class. This type of class doesn't happen very often.

A lot of fans are ho-hum about this class because they see last year's top-10 class and think this class doesn't compare. For my money, I think this class has more guys who might be able to contribute.

It's a huge honor to be chosen captain. Especially with the senior class we have. It's been a goal of mine since I got here to become captain and to lead this team, but it really is the entire class. We're such a strong unit that even though the three of us many share the title, it's not just the captains leading this team, it's the whole senior class.

What was missing was a Southern Conference championship. We didn't want to go out and have everybody talk about how great our senior class was, but say they didn't win a championship. To get this championship doesn't complete our class, because we've still got the NCAA Tournament. But it gives us legitimacy.

I think that we accomplished a lot in our four-year career here. At the beginning it was a struggle, but these last two years for the senior class and the junior class, (what) they went through with us has been great. My classroom is set up to accommodate the different types of assignments students do. Sitting at a single desk the entire class time just doesn't work for this type of class.

This senior class is special since it was our first full class. To win 11 games this season is a great tribute, and seniors like Quincy and Michael are on the forefront of this program's success.

We're older and wiser. Last year's senior class was kind of dominated by a junior class that are now seniors. We have a level of experience and we have an interesting mix here. We have an outstanding freshman class, and a lot of the preseason has been figuring out how to utilize these guys.

(The senior class) knows what it is all about; they have been there and done that for several years now. We had to find a lot of replacements for people last year; that's just the way it goes. I think we'd all like to see the senior class go out on top.

The seniors have been playing together forever. We're tight. We're not done yet. We want to prove this senior class is the best senior class.

I think that their contributions to Cornell lacrosse go beyond any statistical analysis or data that you can put in the paper or attempt to articulate. One of the goals of every senior class is to leave Cornell better than when they found it and this year's senior class has done so tenfold.

You get that good junior class that becomes a senior class and when they graduate you're starting over at square one.

It just shows the dedication of the senior class. The progression started when they were sophomores. When they came in, it was a talented class and they have been putting in the work since.

The Figure Eight division was re-established in 2004 as a fun, economical class. Points are not tallied to keep the class fun. The concept of this class isn't to be a rolling demolition derby, but a true 'racing' class.

There may be more guys leaving from that sophomore class. And that was a horrible class to begin with. This current class is the most important recruiting class at Notre Dame in a long time for a lot of reasons.
