en He's done a good job. He's had a couple of rough spots but he's getting stronger as the season moves along.

en When the economy hits rough spots, gridlock is not good.

en The way they've closed the season speaks to what kind of group this is. We've had many opportunities to let the games go by, win a couple, lose a couple, and go on vacation (after the regular season). I think every chance, when that presented itself, the guys fought their way out of it. They've earned themselves a very good season.

en He pitched really good against us the couple of times we faced San Diego, so he's in the mix for that last couple of bullpen spots.
